What is the next step for the NFL disciplinary committee?

The Deflategate controversy and outcome in favor of Tom Brady is just the newest example of how flawed the current disciplinary system is in the NFL. Do you think there needs to be a change to how issues are handled in the future? Can Goodell even remain the NFL commissioner after 4 overturned rulings within 1 years time?

From the Ray Rice debacle – and that is, now, essentially the opposite of what he’s done with Brady – Goodell has bungled nearly every major, public decision he’s had. It doesn’t help that he’s bad in interviews/pressers and just seems so disingenuous. The interesting thing is that with this ESPN report that came out yesterday, the Patriots have been consistently shady and have repeatedly shirked the rules so that the Brady suspension, in reality, was not about this sham of an investigation, but rather, an attempt to punish the Pats for past transgressions. I feel like the ESPN report was intentionally released after the NFL “lost” the appeal in court specifically to harm the Patriots’ public image. I am a little skeptical of the report – a lot of the allegations come from “unknown people” and protected sources. Seems a bit convenient; the NFL can save face while continuing to throw unproven rumors and allegations at the Pats to appease most of the country that hates them.
