Pick 3: Jacksonville vs. San Diego and Arizona vs. San Francisco

The Teaser: Pair Jacksonville and Arizona

Game 1: Jacksonville vs. San Diego

The Initial Line:

Jacksonville -4 home vs. San Diego

The Take:

Add 8.5 points to Jacksonville’s line

The Final Line:

Jacksonville +4.5

The Breakdown:

Jacksonville got a win against divisional foe Tennessee 19-13 to stay in the AFC North playoff race. San Diego continues to falter, as they were embarrassed at home by Kansas City 33-3. Jacksonville has looked pretty impressive this season despite their 4-6 record. 3 of 6 of their losses have been by 1 score, as Bortles is starting to show his skills in his 2nd season. Bortles currently ranks 10th in passing yds and is tied for 6th with Brees, Newton, and Dalton for pass TDs with 20 on the year. The young receiving duo of Robinson and Hurns has been key for the Jacksonville offense. Both payers are tied for 5th in the league with 7 TDs a piece. SD is a team that has completely lost their rhythm, as they’ve lost 6 straight games. They’ve lost all 4 of their road games this year, and don’t have much to play for as they’re basically eliminated from playoff contention. Jacksonville still has a chance and they will be fighting hard for this win, take them for the victory here.

Final Stat: San Diego ranks 31st in PPG allowed (28.2).

Game 2: Arizona vs. San Francisco

The Initial Line:

Arizona -11.5 away vs. San Francisco

The Take:

Add 8.5 points to Arizona’s line

The Final Line:

Arizona -3

The Breakdown:

Arizona got its 4th straight win on SNF, as they defeated Cincinnati 34-31. San Francisco lost at the hands of division rival Seattle Sunday, as they fell 29-13 on the road. Arizona is arguably the best team in the NFC conference behind Carolina, while San Francisco may be the worst team in the conference. After benching Kaepernick SF went with Gabbart, but that hasn’t produced much in terms of better results. Carson Palmer on the other side of the ball has been one of the best QBs in the game, as he has the highest QB rating in the NFL. Arizona also has one of the best defenses in the league, while San Francisco has struggled significantly there as well. Even though SF has the home-field advantage, they are outmatched in every facet of the game vs Arizona. This one could be a blowout early, so feel confident grabbing Arizona to win by more than 3.

Final Stat: Arizona and SF sit on complete opposites for offensive production, as Arizona ranks 1st in the NFL while SF ranks last.
