Take Minnesota +3 away vs. Washington
Minnesota lost a tough divisional game Sunday, as they fell in OT to Detroit 22-16. Washington got to enjoy the bye week after going 4-3-1 in the first half of their season. Minnesota has hit a snag all of a sudden after starting the year 5-0, as they went 0-3 after their bye week. Washington has been on a bit of a roller coaster this season, as they’ve had a 2 game losing streak and 4 game winning streak already. Despite the recent panic, Minnesota still has the #1 defense in the NFL in terms of PPG allowed (15.8). They also still rank #2 in turnover differential at +12, which should give confidence to Mike Zimmer. Washington has been a fairly average team, with the 14th best offense and 18th best defense. On paper Minnesota should have the edge, and even with home field advantage in the game Washington shouldn’t be as high as a 3 point favorite. Take the value here in Minnesota +3 as they look to rebound from their losing streak.
