Take Atlanta -2.5 home vs. Green Bay
Atlanta lost a heartbreaker at home on Sunday, as they fell to the rallying San Diego squad 33-30 in OT. Green Bay was able to pull out a big win at home against the division rivals in Chicago, as they won 26-10 on Thursday Night Football. Each of these teams has 4 wins on the year, but Atlanta has clearly been the more dominant squad. Their offense has scored 32.9 PPG, which is 3 pts more than any other team in the league. The Matt Ryan/ Julio Jones combination has been lethal, as Ryan leads the league in pass yards while Jones leads the league in receiving yards. Combine that with the Freeman/Coleman RB duo and the offense has shown they move the ball through the air and the ground. Green Bay has hardly looked like a dominant team at 4-2 with questions about who will play RB besides receivers and where Aaron Rodgers accuracy has gone. Rodgers currently ranks 20th in passer rating among qualified QBs and has his lowest completion % of his career. The defense has been bailing them out, but they’ve lost to both of the strong teams they’ve played (away at Minnesota and home vs Dallas). Expect Atlanta to bounce back this week after a tough loss, and winning by a FG or more at home should be more than attainable.
