Take Dallas -2.5 away vs. Washington
Dallas came out of their bye week on a mission, cruising into San Francisco to win convincingly 40-10. Dak Prescott threw for 3 touchdowns and Elliott had 3 touchdowns (2 rush, 1 pass) in a stellar offensive showing. Washington wasn’t able to keep up with Philadelphia on Monday Night Football, losing 34-24. Kirk Cousins threw an INT and the defense couldn’t slow Carson Wentz as the injuries are starting to get to Washington.
Dallas may finally be back on track after a sluggish start to 2017. They have already tied their loss total from last season, but even with their struggles they still rank 7th in PPG (27.5). Washington had a couple more big injuries on Monday night, as they lost their OG Scherff and CB Holsey. Cousins has done fairly well with the team he has around them, but on a short week they’ll have their hands full with the combo of Elliott and Prescott against a banged up secondary. Expect a big night for Dez Bryant and Jason Witten as the offense should be able to exploit Washington in the passing game, and given the short week Dallas should be victorious by at least a FG. There looks to be real value on a -2.5 line even on the road.
