Take Buffalo -3.5 away vs. New York Jets
Buffalo maintained their hot start to the season with a dominant home victory over Oakland 34-14. Buffalo was able to force 4 total turnovers on defense (1 fumble return for TD) while LeSean McCoy churned out 151 yds and a TD on the ground. New York watched a 4th quarter lead slip away, falling at home to Atlanta 25-20. New York gave up 10 points in the 4th quarter and lost a 3rd straight after holding a lead.
Buffalo has surprised most of the league with their 5-2 start and they have a chance to tie New England for the division lead with a Thursday Night victory. They made a big splash this week as they acquired WR Kelvin Benjamin from Carolina to add firepower to their receiving core. They have managed to protect the ball well and force turnovers better than anyone else, as seen by their NFL leading +14 turnover differential. Their defense has kept points off the board as well, ranking 3rd in points allowed/game (16.4) compared to New York who ranks 22nd (23.3). This should be an entertaining game in this AFC East showdown, but with McCoy rushing against a 27th ranked rush defense and with the stout Buffalo D they should be able to secure the victory and make a statement on national TV. Take them ATS as winning by 4 or more should be attainable.
