Take Indianapolis -3 home vs. San Diego
Indianapolis had high hopes for this season, but still find themselves at 0-2 after a tough road loss to Denver 34-20. San Diego was able to dominate on their home turf against Jacksonville, as they won 38-14. San Diego has major questions to answer on offense, as they lost Danny Woodhead to a season-ending torn ACL injury and he is one of their sparkplugs in both the passing and rushing game. Indianapolis may be 0-2, but they are showing signs that they have some firepower on offense. Denver has an elite defense, and if it weren’t for 2 defensive touchdowns that would have been a closer game. In week 1, Luck threw for 385 yds and 4 TDs, but a late FG under a minute left crushed them. Both Indy and San Diego have question marks on defense, and still have some improvements to make. Indianapolis knows this game is a must win in order to keep them in the playoff hunt, so expect them to come out firing against a team that’s searching for a new approach on offense. Take Indy to win this one, and winning by at least 3 should be achievable.
